White Aluminum donated $3,436.65 in October sales to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research and awareness. Breast cancer is a matter close to the heart for the White Aluminum family, President and CEO Bud Dorman’s wife is a breast cancer survivor.

This is the first Breast Cancer Awareness campaign sponsored by White Aluminum, and due to its success there are already plans for next year’s promotion. In the past White Aluminum created pink advertisements during October to help support and promote Breast Cancer Awareness. Researchers and scientists expect there to be 232,340 new cases of invasive breast cancer affecting women in the United States before the end of 2013.
