It’s time to deck the halls… and windows, exteriors and sunrooms! While you’re decorating this season, don’t forget this crucial part of your home. Make it the center of your holiday gatherings by following these simple decorating tips.
Frosted windows
We may not get the snow and frost traditionally associated with a White Christmas, but we can still get the effect! Whip up some “fake frost” and apply it to your sunroom’s windows. Their size makes this fun frosty effect even more dazzling.
Light it up
Of course… what would the holidays be without lights? Take the classic strings and apply them in new ways around your sunroom. Border your windows from the inside, outside or both! From the interior or exterior, you’ll be in for a sparkling lightshow that illuminates the indoors and outdoors.
Hanging wreaths
You have your traditional wreath; pick up a few more for this fun décor idea. Hang them from the top of each window (we’ve seen some done with a wide red ribbon) for an overload of holiday charm and a unique look from the inside or out.
Windows and garland
Border your sunroom’s walls or windows with prelit garland. Add bows or small ornaments for a more festive look!
Feast-worthy set up
The most dominant part of your holiday sunroom can be the dinner table itself! If you have space, consider taking the feast to the sunroom this year. You’ll be able to appreciate the natural light from outdoors, even if you prefer the climate control of your central air conditioning.
